In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU Regulation 2016/679) and French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology, data files and civil liberties, the publisher of the Site and the Application undertakes to protect the confidentiality of the personal data collected.
Tailor Tech Incorporation, publisher of the Site and the Application. Address: 7 Cours Favale, 20200 Bastia, France. Email: contact@tailortech.fr.
For data relating to the clients of an Application user (see below), Tailor Tech Incorporation acts as a processor within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR, the user (factory or tailor) remaining the controller for that data.
Personal data collected on the Site is gathered exclusively through the contact forms (factory, tailor or other profiles) and the demo request. The data collected includes: name, email address, professional profile, and the content of the message. This data is collected solely to respond to user enquiries, present the solution and, where applicable, organise a demonstration. It is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
The personal data processed by the Application comes from several sources, depending on the feature used:
User account data. When an account is created (factory, tailor or invited team member), the following is collected: last name, first name, email address, telephone number, password, and, for a company’s main account, the company name, email and telephone number. This data is collected in order to create and manage the account, authenticate the user and grant access to the platform.
Data relating to the user’s clients. The Application allows the user (factory or tailor) to create and manage records for their own clients: last name, first name, telephone, email, free-text comment and, where applicable, the company represented. For this data the user acts as the controller; Tailor Tech Incorporation acts as a processor within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR. The publisher processes this data only on the documented instructions of the controller, solely for the purpose of providing the service, and uses it for no other purpose (in particular no commercial or prospecting purpose). This data is deleted or returned to the controller at the end of the contractual relationship, unless a legal retention obligation applies. Any data breach affecting it will be notified to the controller as soon as possible.
Body measurement data. When configuring an order, body measurements (neck, shoulders, chest, waist, sleeve length, and so on) are entered and linked to an identified client and order. This data is collected solely to enable the made-to-measure garment to be manufactured.
Delivery data. When an order is finalised, the following is collected: last name, first name, address(es), postcode, city, telephone, email, the requested delivery date and, where applicable, whether the order is urgent. This data is collected in order to organise and track the delivery of the order.
Invoicing data. Factory and tailor prices, together with the invoicing status of an order, are recorded for commercial tracking and invoicing between the factory and the tailor. The Application itself processes no online payments.
Calendar data and Google Calendar synchronisation. The Application provides an internal calendar for recording appointments linked to orders: title, start and end date and time, description, location, label, person concerned, and the associated order, manufacturer and garment. This data is collected in order to plan and track appointments related to the user’s activity.
Users may optionally connect their Google account in order to synchronise this calendar with Google Calendar. In that case:
Internal activity log. Certain actions (order cancellation, request for additional information) are recorded together with a reason or message and the username of the person who performed them, for traceability and order-processing follow-up.
This data is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
As part of the calendar synchronisation, the Application accesses, through the Google Calendar API and with the user’s explicit consent, the events in their Google Calendar account (title, description, location, times).
The Application’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
Tailor Tech Incorporation implements technical and organisational measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data processed by the Site and the Application, including data obtained via Google APIs. In particular:
Despite these measures, no system is guaranteed to be completely risk-free; in the event of a data breach likely to generate a risk for the rights and freedoms of the data subjects, Tailor Tech Incorporation will inform the CNIL and the data subjects concerned in accordance with Articles 33 and 34 of the GDPR.
Data submitted through the Site is processed by the following technical providers:
Data transfers to providers established outside the European Union (Resend) are covered by standard contractual clauses guaranteeing an adequate level of protection.
Data submitted through the Application is processed by the following technical providers:
Data transfers to providers established outside the European Union (Ory Corp, Google) are covered by standard contractual clauses guaranteeing an adequate level of protection or, where applicable, by their participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Data from the contact forms is retained for a maximum of thirty-six (36) months from the last contact with the user. Once this period expires, the data is deleted.
Data relating to a user account, a client or an order is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship with Tailor Tech Incorporation, plus the applicable statutory limitation periods. When the account is closed, this data is deleted or anonymised, subject to the legal retention obligations applicable to certain categories of data (accounting documents and invoices: 10 years; commercial correspondence: 5 years).
Calendar data synchronised with Google Calendar is retained for as long as the connection to the Google account remains active, and is deleted from the Application within a reasonable time after the user disconnects.
In accordance with Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, every user (of both the Site and the Application) has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, port and object to the processing of their personal data. These rights may be exercised at any time by sending a request to: contact@tailortech.fr.
The publisher undertakes to respond to any request within one (1) month of receipt.
