Born from a meeting in Bastia
It all started with a meeting with a tailor in Bastia.
Pierre-François is passionate about bespoke suits, and wears one every day. That is how he came to know a tailor in Bastia, who described his day-to-day work: orders noted on paper, copied into a file, then emailed to the manufacturer.
He told Sébastien, his friend and now his business partner. Together, they felt they could provide an answer.
The same order is written out several times: during the appointment, in the client's record, then on the order form for the manufacturer.
Each tailor orders in their own way, by email, in Excel or as a PDF. A single missing measurement is enough to delay production.
Tracking happens without visibility: the tailor does not know where the order promised to their client stands, unless they chase it up.
Our trade: custom software
Before Tailor Tech, we developed custom software for other businesses. Today, we focus that expertise on a single product.
We still put it to use for manufacturers with needs specific to their own production: we develop custom modules for them.
See the garment before ordering it
The garment is built on a 2D drawing, option by option, with the client.
What the tailor sees is what goes into the order: complete, in their manufacturer's format. No more descriptions to write, no more forgotten options.

From Bastia to the pilot programme
The milestones that took Tailor Tech from its founding, in 2024, to its first pilot programme.
- May 2024Founded in Bastia
Tailor Tech starts out with one project: an ordering platform between tailors and manufacturers.
- July 20241st prize, Start'in Corsica
Then in pre-incubation at Inizià, the project is a winner of the seventh edition of the competition, with funding from ADEC.
- 2025Incubation and support
Tailor Tech is incubated by Inizià and receives support from Bpifrance, through the Bourse French Tech grant, and from ADEC.
- September 2026Pilot programme
The interface opens to tailors, even when their manufacturer is not connected, with three months of testing on their own orders.
The people building Tailor Tech
A small team in Bastia, covering project management, technology, development and user experience.
Pierre-François Morganti
Co-founder of Tailor Tech, a graduate of EPITECH and of the HEC Challenge+ programme.
He leads project management and supports the rollout of Tailor Tech with tailors.
Sébastien Solinas
Co-founder and technical director, a graduate of ESRA Nice. He defined the platform's scope and leads its visual design.
He works on manufacturers' catalogues and leads the first interviews with tailors.
Trân Paolini
An EPITECH graduate, he has been developing the platform since October 2025: the server, the database and the API that connects tailors to their manufacturers.
Solène Carbonel
Trained in psychology and ergonomics, she makes sure the tool meets the needs of the people who use it, and keeps improving it based on their feedback.
